  • Realize the power of play.
  • At Play 2 Grow, we "realize the power" by merging pediatric expertise with high technology amusement. The result is a developmental play experience.
  • Our programs promote "whole-child" development through fun-based cognitive, motor, and social skill activities.
  • Our ultimate goal is simple: Encourage caregiver-child bonding and optimal development through loving touch and family play.

  • At Play 2 Grow, we know that constructive play experiences are fundamental to the development of all infants, toddlers, and children and that the benefits of play are universal to all cultures and generations.
  • We subscribe to what Professor Brian Sutton-Smith has termed "rhetoric of play as progress". This philosophy credits play as a direct contributor to whole child development.
  • Rooted in the theory of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky, the P2G curriculum is designed for children to play in their "zone of proximal development". This occurs when a child is performing safe activities that reach just beyond their current developmental capabilities while having so much fun with their family and friends, they don't even realize they are being challenged. When this dynamic occurs, play becomes developmental play.
  • Our infant and toddler play classes are parent-assisted for a reason. We encourage our adults to be active participants during family play activities through a process called "scaffolding" where adults guide play for optimal development, safety, and fun.

Play 2 Grow
... serious about development.
