• Play 2 Grow's Internship Program brings learned concepts to life through thoughtful developmental play experiences.  
• Students and their faculty members create learning objectives which directly relate to both pediatric development and the student's field of study. Upon completion of our eight week internship students will:
  • Recognize and demonstrate understanding of physical, social, and cognitive development
  • Demonstrate knowledge of normal and abnormal sensory-motor development
  • Review and employ current research on play and pediatric development
  • Demonstrate knowledge of parent/caregiver's role and effect on pediatric development
  • Learn the day-to-day operations of operating a family play center
• Internship coursework includes:
  • Successful completion of P2G "Prepared for Play" Competency Exam
  • Daily hands-on learning experiences
  • Creative contribution to Play 2 Grow SmartPlay and Baby Spa curricula
• Pediatric disciplines appropriate for this internship experience:
